Construction of the twelfth century, changed in the eighteenth century. A plaque affixed to the façade in Leonine verse mentions the erection and consecration made in 1190 by Bishop Anselm of Acts (1155-1201). Fragments of frescoes of various periods (secc. XIII-XIV) that decorated the interior have been sold 1955 and transferred in the former Episcopal seminary.
